Do You Like My Art?

If you have seen something in my art that you would like to purchase, you can at My Art Pal

I believe stories can be told in many ways and use a variety of methods to uplift, inform and educate African American and people of color. I want my work to bring energy and life to a marginalized community to help it become strong and active. I want to do work that gets people to talking about the issues of life.

If you can’t afford art right now, you can see my who in an exhibition. This month Young Love is part of a group exhibition in the City of Frisco’s Art in the Atrium.

Soon, I will announce another location where my work will be shown. Stay tuned!

Book of the Month

When You Forget Your Phone

In my phone are hundreds of names and numbers. Without my phone, I only remember two phone numbers. I don’t even know my daughter’s phone number. When you have you bible with you, or access to it, you are probably pretty confident. But when you are in the midst of a trial and your bible and the app are not available, what do you rely on? When You Forget Your Phone is a devotional that challenges you to memorize God’s word. If you know God’s word, it is easier to stand on His promises when your world is turbulent.
The fifteen verses included in this devotional are verses that God has spoken in the life of the author over the last year. This book will give some insight into her journey with the Lord.
