Welcome to Season Nine of TV Talk with the Sistas. We won Best Audio Programming for the ACM Hometown Media Awards this year making us an award-winning podcast. We thought it was only fair that we up our game.

In Season Nine, we are going to talk about stories that shed new light on our stories. Our stories being those of African Americans, women and our own personal stories.

In some episodes, we will have guest that will bring a new dimension to our storytelling. While other episodes will be the same fun you have grown to expect.

She founded an organization that supports child literacy. She was one of my heroes. She is Dolly Parton. She died in August. The world is a little less bright.
