Hello Black History Month

A century ago, the seed of Black History Month was planted so the world would remember what it tried to forget. Today, that seed is a forest. These stories are roots, branches, and light.

A Dream That Refuses to Age

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s words still walk beside us, steady and insistent. His vision bent history toward justice and reminds us that courage can be spoken softly and still shake the world. This never grows old.

Art of the Month

Kerry Kennedy said “Three years and one month from today, I’m going to grab a pickaxe and pull those letters off that building, but I’m going to need help holding the ladder. Are you in?”

Kerry, I am holding the ladder for you, Sis.

She was talking about how the current person in the White House defaced the building that honored her uncle, John F Kennedy.

How Raise God Wise Kids

In a world that can seem hopeless, kids need a reason to hope. In addition to teaching our children how to get into college, play sports and chase the American Dream, there is something greater to be learned. He created the universe with stars and planets, yet the desire of His heart was to reconcile with people whom He loved. In this devotional, the author shares ideas of how to help your children have a personal relationship with God. Through scripture, art and stories, she shared the opportunities she had to teach her own child to get to know God.
