Looking back at where I have been helps me think about the things that I liked versus the things that I did not like. It forces me to weigh the experience and think about how helpful was it.
I mean some bad experiences taught me more than several good ones combined. It is all in what did you learn.
Reflecting on past projects allows me to see them differently. It gives me the chance to evaluate what I have learned, examine my skillset, and think about where I want to go.
I am reflective. I take time to stop and think back on previous projects. I take time to think about what all of this has taught me. Knowing where you have been, helps you see where you are going.
I seek to find a fresh way to tell a story that will change your life, inspire you.
One of my favorite sources is nature.
God created a system that perpetually changes and creates beauty even when it is dying. Summer wans and fall slips us kisses by changing the color of the foliage. Bright yellows, oranges and reds celebrate the coming season.
I expand my creativity to different areas of my life. Learning a new skill, like cooking or painting gets my energy going. It makes me look at things different. Where do you need to expand your thinking?
Creative is marked by the ability or power to create. I embrace that power and use it to tell stories.
