The colors of autumn send a signal to us that things are changing. They are beautiful and fleeting.

The smell of dust burning as the radiator comes on for the first time. The hiss of the steam as it comes out of the pipes for the first time of the season. I am grateful for a warm spot.

Leaves start to fall. You can’t stop it. You don’t want to.

Sometimes our kindness is not met the way we think it ought to be met. For beautiful green land, we dump trash everywhere. For clean air to breathe, we fill with pollutants. But kindness continues to follow us. So we should meet it with the same kind of crazy kindness.

Galatians 5:22 tells us one of the fruit of the Spirit is Kindness which means it will produce good things. Just how natural foods like fruit can produce good things for your body. So celebrate the end of summer with some fruit.
