I have heard and read a lot about being thankful this month. I mean it is the month of Thanksgiving. I needed the reminding. It is easy to get caught up in the things of life and forget about things we should appreciate.
This time has made me think about the big things and the small things. And how all of these things make up me and contribute to my story.
I love the holidays and am thankful for them. I love the pomp and circumstance of it such as parades, decorations, and pageants. I love the little quiet moments of it like the prayers, gift giving and the grace. I am thankful that I get to be a part of it with people I love. Most importantly I am thankful that the holidays give me hope.

I am thankful for the spaces God has placed me in because they reflect His glory. Green leaves turn red, orange or yellow and flow effortlessly to the ground creating a carpet that hides the earth. These spaces are filled with beautiful things and teach me more than I ever can imagine.
