For the first month of 2021 the affirmation is Hope. We all need this prescription to get us started for this part of the journey through racial strife, a pandemic, grief and loss, you name it. Hope is the light that shines and shows you the way. It is the thing at the end of the tunnel. And as one preacher put it, it is the thing that shines bright in the dark.
