Meet Dr. Mubarak

Meet Dr. Lynda Jones Mubarak and her book, Stations.
In order to live a vibrant and successful life, you must embrace two truths: everyone’s life path is about change, and each phase of life offers opportunities that we often overlook. No matter where you find yourself in life, you have unexplored talent, unimagined resources, and the ability to make the most of the station you are occupying at the moment.

New parents, teen parents, new workers, and experienced workers re-entering the labor force, are you ready for the 21st century workplace? How are you preparing your children for the world of work? If your future does not look promising, there may be some personal lifestyle routines, unrealistic expectations, or self-defeating behaviors worth examining. STATIONS is a collection of essays exploring the life lessons many of us encounter as we grow and change in a world fueled by information and technology.

Origins

I started this project as a film because I wanted to work with my cousin, Pete. You will notice one of the main character’s name is Pete. The character has a lot of his mannerisms. He becomes a good straight man for the character of Gilda. BUT ReCovery is book number 4. It focuses on The Closer, which is the guy in the black jacket and Claire who is not in the photos.
Like a movie director, I like telling you the story in a certain order. I want you to see what Claire became before you see what she was. Privateers, the 1st book in the series, is available for $8.99.

Caught in the Crosswinds

Caught In the Crosswinds is a Christian Devotional and is on sale for $5. It will help you understand some of the attributes of God, what He does and what He wants from us using scripture. Having a good understanding of who God is will give you peace when strong winds blow against you. Like my prayer this morning, His word will pop up at the right time when you need it. But you got to know it.

Sometimes I will give you a note from the publisher’s or the writer’s point of view. It will give you insight into the project.

PUBLISHER’S NOTE: I should have changed the cover on Caught when I saw it was not selling well. But I really wanted the concept to work. Bad idea. I changed the Kindle edition cover. Now I am changing the print book cover. A cover can make or break your book.
